This antique brooch is absolutely stunning.  The centre features a foil backed cabochon almandine garnet with a beautiful white enamel surround.

The brooch is 18ct yellow gold and is dated approximately 1820s.  The brooch and the enamelling is in very good condition, something quite rare for a piece of this age.

The brooch measures 16 mm x 21mm and weighs 2.4 grams.
