Diamond (April)

Diamond is the hardest natural mineral on Earth, 4 times harder than sapphire and this plus its brilliance and fire make diamond the most highly prized of all gemstones. The word diamond comes from the Greek ‘adamas’ meaning invincible. The most valuable diamonds are completely colourless, but fancy coloured diamonds are also popular with colours such as yellow, brown, pink, red, green, black and blue. Diamond is a symbol of love and is believed to enhance relationships, and increase inner strength.
